Inclusive Management of Differences and Adaptation Strategies

 

In the face of open borders and increased diversity in the workplace, inclusive management of human capital has become more important than ever before for employers.

 

Having a diverse team working for the enterprise as well as a diverse customer base is not enough to enjoy the benefits of diversity. Developing an organizational culture that acknowledges, takes into account, and makes use of these differences is essential.  

This workshop will help participants become aware of the significance and actual impacts of cultural diversity on a daily basis, in particular in the workplace. Based on the experiences of the participants, this workshop will allow for a reinterpretation of real-life situations so as to analyze the issues, challenges, and strategies used to adapt to cultural variables. The presentation of theoretical concepts will help both demystify and better understand attitudes and behaviours dictated by cultures of belonging. Simple and efficient solutions will become useful tools to reinforce the skills of participants in diversity management.

Nowadays, the organizations’ environment is constantly evolving.

 

Organizations face rapid changes in various spheres: for example, technological, sociocultural, demographic, and economic changes. These changes are increasingly complex, difficult to predict, and often ambiguous. Mastering traditional management tools (planning, organization, decision, control) is no longer sufficient. Today, a great adaptability and strong collaborative and transformational leadership skills are particularly sought-after in leaders.

Training for Trainers

Confronting challenges such as labour shortage and productivity and performance dictates, an increasing number of enterprises that attempt to remain competitive use experienced in-house resources as trainers when integrating new employees. However, these designated employees have no training as trainers; their employers take for granted that their experience is enough...

 

Our numerous interventions with enterprises show that, despite their motivation and devotion, most in-house trainers have limited resources. They would appreciate being better equipped to better carry out their mandates. “Training for Trainers” aims at meeting the needs for autonomy and agility of enterprises. This training workshop introduces designated in-house resources to essential tools that will enable them to train their colleagues and carry out their mandates efficiently, in accordance with professional standards of adult training in the workplace.

The duration of “Training for Trainers” varies between 15 and 30 hours, depending on the level of expertise chosen. The topics discussed include :

  • The foundations of the training profession
  • The concept and principles of adult learning
  • The formulation of training and learning objectives
  • Learning styles, teaching methods, and animation techniques
  • How to structure a training session?
  • How to develop efficient teaching materials (videos, slides, tables, flip charts, etc.)?
  • The evaluation and the transfer of learning
  • The requirements related to the role of adult trainer

Change Management

Organizations now evolve in a context in which change has become a constant. Agility has become the key skill to develop, both for individuals and organizations.

 

There are many change management theories and models. These methods were effective when the future was easily foreseeable and controllable. The complexity, volatility, and unpredictability that characterize today’s situation require to get off the beaten track.

Our training workshops on change management purport to be reflection workshops. Participants are invited to take a step back to think about the consistency between their growth strategies and the parameters of their organizational culture and capacities.

The topics discussed and the training approaches are adjusted based on the preliminary work done by participants.
