Concilium Capital Humain is a training organization certified by Agrément Québec (no. 0057648)—“An Act to promote workforce skill development and recognition” (1% of the payroll). Our training courses are accredited by SOFEDUC for granting continual education units (CEU).

We propose schedules adapted to your availability. Our training programs can also be offered in the form of retreats outside the city or at your office, at your convenience. We encourage practical experience and knowledge sharing between participants. The techniques that we use are recognized for achieving tangible results.

The complexity and continuous changes that organizations face nowadays make sustainable competitivity and performance more difficult than before. The enterprises that survive and prosper in this context invest in the professional development and continued training of their senior executives, managers, and employees.

The secret of performing enterprises that are adapted to postmodernity is that they evolve as learning organizations that value collective intelligence. Thanks to our experienced, multidisciplinary, and international team, we have developed training programs and professional development approaches that can be adapted to the specific needs of any organization that chooses us as a partner to reinforce the skills of its human capital. We believe that investing wisely in skill development contributes significantly to making an enterprise sustainable. It also enhances its outreach, its capacity to attract new talents, and its retention capability. Investing in training also ensures the prosperity of your enterprise via workforce mobilization, because this type of investment shows employees that they matter to you.

We are recognized for our varied and creative learning methods that combine andragogical principles (adapted to adults in the workplace), psychometric tools, new technologies, practical experience, tales and anecdotes, introspection, and knowledge transfer, in the learner’s professional context.

An approach that fosters autonomy

Whether you are a professional, a manager, or an executive, the training that we offer is designed to suit your learning style: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, active experimentation, etc.

80% of practical exercises and interactions: role-playing, case studies, analogies, discussions, co-development groups, psychometric evaluations (Insight Discovery or TRIMA).

20% of theory: knowledge, validated theoretical concepts, and real-life cases that will help you get a better understanding of practical exercises.

After participating in our training programs, you will be autonomous and well equipped to overcome challenges!

Inclusive Management of Differences and Adaptation Strategies

In the face of open borders and increased diversity in the workplace, inclusive management of human capital has become more important than ever before for employers.

Having a diverse team working for the enterprise as well as a diverse customer base is not enough to enjoy the benefits of diversity. Developing an organizational culture that acknowledges, takes into account, and makes use of these differences is essential.

This workshop will help participants become aware of the significance and actual impacts of cultural diversity on a daily basis, in particular in the workplace. Based on the experiences of the participants, this workshop will allow for a reinterpretation of real-life situations so as to analyze the issues, challenges, and strategies used to adapt to cultural variables. The presentation of theoretical concepts will help both demystify and better understand attitudes and behaviours dictated by cultures of belonging. Simple and efficient solutions will become useful tools to reinforce the skills of participants in diversity management.

Learning Objectives

Recognize contexts in which diversity plays a part, both in society and within the organization.

Identify issues and potential sources of conflict in a culturally diverse context.

Explain the cornerstones, the advantages, and the limits of reasonable accommodation.

Use decision, adaptation, and accommodation tools to support a responsible and inclusive management of diversity.

Intended Audience

Senior executives, managers, executives, and employees responsible for training or overseeing the work of other employees.

Inspiring and Collaborative Leadership

Nowadays, the organizations’ environment is constantly evolving.

Organizations face rapid changes in various spheres: for example, technological, sociocultural, demographic, and economic changes. These changes are increasingly complex, difficult to predict, and often ambiguous. Mastering traditional management tools (planning, organization, decision, control) is no longer sufficient. Today, a great adaptability and strong collaborative and transformational leadership skills are particularly sought-after in leaders.

Investing in developing a style of leadership that is adapted to today’s reality increases the chances of lasting success for your managers, employees, and—ultimately—organization.

This workshop helps participants become aware of their leadership style. They can identify appropriate means to develop their full potential as leaders, in harmony with their identities and values.

Specific Goals

Grasp and take ownership of the characteristics associated with one’s identity and leadership style.

Reinforce one’s strategic skills and position as a leader (managerial courage, power of influence, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, imputability, and so on).

Acknowledge personal strengths and challenges in practicing collaborative leadership.

Reinforce one’s capacity to exert power of influence in the context of inspiring and transformational leadership.

Intended Audience

Senior executives, managers, executives, and employees responsible for training or overseeing the work of other employees.

Training for Trainers

Confronting challenges such as labour shortage and productivity and performance dictates, an increasing number of enterprises that attempt to remain competitive use experienced in-house resources as trainers when integrating new employees. However, these designated employees have no training as trainers; their employers take for granted that their experience is enough...

Our numerous interventions with enterprises show that, despite their motivation and devotion, most in-house trainers have limited resources. They would appreciate being better equipped to better carry out their mandates. “Training for Trainers” aims at meeting the needs for autonomy and agility of enterprises. This training workshop introduces designated in-house resources to essential tools that will enable them to train their colleagues and carry out their mandates efficiently, in accordance with professional standards of adult training in the workplace.

The duration of “Training for Trainers” varies between 15 and 30 hours, depending on the level of expertise chosen. The topics discussed include :

  • The foundations of the training profession
  • The concept and principles of adult learning
  • The formulation of training and learning objectives
  • Learning styles, teaching methods, and animation techniques
  • How to structure a training session?
  • How to develop efficient teaching materials (videos, slides, tables, flip charts, etc.)?
  • The evaluation and the transfer of learning
  • The requirements related to the role of adult trainer

Change Management

Organizations now evolve in a context in which change has become a constant. Agility has become the key skill to develop, both for individuals and organizations.

There are many change management theories and models. These methods were effective when the future was easily foreseeable and controllable. The complexity, volatility, and unpredictability that characterize today’s situation require to get off the beaten track.

Our training workshops on change management purport to be reflection workshops. Participants are invited to take a step back to think about the consistency between their growth strategies and the parameters of their organizational culture and capacities.

The topics discussed and the training approaches are adjusted based on the preliminary work done by participants.

Other Topics (on request)

Thanks to our competence in andragogy (adult education), we design training workshops to suit the specific needs of our clients.

The initial diagnosis can be made online using a needs assessment questionnaire. It can also be made by phone or face-to-face.
